- The original name for Kleen-A-Matic, Chickamauga Laundry, was established in 1939 for one purpose, to do contract laundry for the 6th Cavalry at Fort Oglethorpe.
- RETAIL DRY-CLEANING After the base at Fort Oglethorpe was closed in 1948, the first satellite retail dry-cleaning plant called Kleen-A-Matic was opened in1953. The seventh location was opened in 1994.
- RENTAL The Kleen-A-Matic Rental Uniform Division was started in the early 1970’s, in the Rossville location. In 1982, the rental division added dust control rental under the name of Dust Enders. In 1992, service to the healthcare industry was added to the rental division under the name of Kleen-A-Matic Professional Services. In 2003 Kleen-A-Matic joined CRDN (Certified Restoration Dry-cleaning Network). Specializing in the restoration of smoke, water and mold damaged textiles.
